These two blocks are my contribution to Beth Nickel of Newfoundland USA for her charity quilt to the Epilepsy Association. Just a humble contribution following the requested colours and pattern given by Beth. I had posted them on Monday, March 27, 2012.
As usual, I am making extra and will do the whole quilt with the same colour way of fabrics with floral borders at least queen size quilt...great!
Last Saturday, I had this scraps crazy idea after watching Eleanor Burn's video on 'Fabric Frenzy' so I did one block which is 10" square and ended up with four blocks...20" square blocks. But this is just the starting of the patterns. These will be turned and twisted around again after I have finished all 15 blocks full of scraps.
Well I am back again after a long long disappearance from posting my work. I have been busy having my best friend staying at home for three weeks. Now back to work and these are the three blocks that I did for my JUQ Birthday Blocks project. Three blocks for three ladies from February for two ladies and March. April birthday block coming up soon.
The blocks are taken from Carol Doak's "50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars"...from left Mission Star, California Star and Indiana Star. I am taking the patterns following where they are staying. Well so far they received them well in good order and they like it.
I made an extra block each for my keeping where I am thinking of putting all the 12 star blocks together and make into a quilt for remembrance...how about that?? Cool right?
