Watercolour Lap Quilt

This watercolour lap quilt was sewn for my friend  for her birthday who is also a quilter and she loves to do applique. This was done on a pre-marked 2" square light weight fusible fabric.  It is fun doing this playing with shades of colours. I did not follow any pattern but i just did it on my own.

Black & White Stripy Lap Quilt

This lap quilt too  was done in a hurry  too and it was easy and quick to make. Well, more or less it took me two weeks to sew them all together.  I bought the black and white jelly roll from Cottage Patchwork and used floral fabric from my collection  for sashings and borders.  Specially made this for my daughter's best friend who was at that time going to Fresno, California to further her studies.

Quiltmama's Garden Quilt

This ready made block pattern that i bought years ago finally turned into a queen size quilt in time for my best friend Marilyn  to use who come to stay with us during her two weeks holidays. It is easy to make too just adding the sashings and embellished them with floral buttons. Not much of quilting done just in the ditch and simple floral borders. I did the stitchery quilt label behind the quilt too.
